Family...

Hi, I am writing from a friends computer. My house was hit with lightening Saturday night. It fried my computer, 2 TV's, printers, and DVD player, garage door opener, and alarm system. Minimal damage to house and I am ok. I will not be online until I can purchase and install a new computer. I just wanted to inform all about what happened. I hope it won't take much longer than a week or two. I hope all is well with everyone and will miss you all!!

I want to share this card today. The image is by Inkadinkado. The pattern paper by Liz King. The paper lace is by K&Co and the bottle cap sticker is by 7Gypsies.

Take care and see you as soon as I get back on line!!!

Enjoy!

Thinking of you....

My gosh, is it really Wednesday already. It has been a busy week and I must admit not as productive as I want to be. The part I am having trouble with is getting my art work done. Can't seem to find the motivation. Don't know what is wrong. Not giving up but need to find what it takes to get something done.

This is a card I created to have on hand for those times that such a card is needed. The image is by Hero Arts. The pattern paper is by Crate Paper and the butterfly embellishment is by K&CO.

Home Run Hits...

Happy Monday morning... Hope that each of you had a wonderful weekend. I did... Friday night I was treated to one of the best Italian dinners! It was awesome food and I ate way too much for sure. I recieved some very nice and wonderful gifts...money, shorts, and a shirt. Plus, I recieved tons of cards from so many truly wonderful stamping friends. Thank you so much to all for making it a very special day.

The card I am sharing today is the last in the series I created for Artistic Outpost when I was still on the design team. I love this set and it is a perfect set for baseball and masculine cards. This card is made with pattern paper by DCWV. The bottle cap is one that I have had on hand for quite some time and do not remember who it is by.

Special cards...

I didn't tell you this as I didn't want to appear to be asking for "Happy Birthday" wishes or card. But I am breaking down and letting you know about it. My birthday was Friday and I just had to share these two special cards I recieved from a couple of online friends. The scans don't do the cards justice...they are so much more beautiful in person! I absolutely love the cards and can't thank the two people who sent them to me. They made my birthday very special. Aren't these gorgeous?

Enjoy!!!

I made this card using one of my favorite themes...Paris. The image is by Tim Holtz. The pattern paper used is by Basic Grey and I embellished it with brads by Creative Memories.

Baseball...

"Happy Monday Morning" or should I say "Good Monday Morning"? Either one works well for me and I hope it finds you have either one of them this morning! Let's see...my weekend was a full one. Saturday the guy I have been dating for quite some time and I went riding for awhile. I talk occassionally about him and when I talk about riding I am talking about motorcycles. Anyway, it seems we were always riding just ahead of thunderstorms and we finally ran out of time to not get caught in them. It isn't much fun riding when it rains and can be just a bit unnerving. Despite the storms we had a good time and as always I loved the riding and well I admit it spending time with him! We followed up by going to the Bats (Cincinnati Red's farm team or minor league team)baseball game Saturday night. They were tied at the bottom of the 9th but the Bats rallied in the 10th and won the game, 7-6. I love going to baseball games and really enjoyed it.

I thought it would be appropriate to share this card today. The images are by Artistic Outpost. The pattern paper I used for the card is by The Paper Loft.

Double Play...

Happy Wednesday!!! Gosh it is only half way though the week and I am worn out. I have been so busy...I love it! Plus it has finally warmed up...Yahoo. I love it!!! I hope everyone is having a great week!

The card was created with and image is by Artistic Outpost. I used a card sketch to create the card and if I knew where it came from I would let you know. The pattern paper is by Me & My Big Ideas. I used a black mark to create the look stitching. It is the first time I have tried this and it turned out well I think. The card is embellished with black mini brads by Makin Memories and a "Double Play" epoxy sticker by Creative Imaginations.

American Hero....

Hope you had a fantastic 4th of July, were able to spend some time with family and friends, and had a great three day weekend! It rained here most of the weekend which put a bit of a damper on outside activities! But that is ok because it was perfect art weather. I have accomplished so much as far as art goes. I have actually created a couple of items this week. I am enjoying being able to create because I want to not because I have to. Does that make sense?

I created this card using images from Artistic Outpost. The two pattern papers are by the Paper Studio. The "American Hero" is a rub on by the Paper Studio and the silver star is a button.

Enjoy!!!

Forever....Mini Book

Happy TGIF!! Glad we made it through the week!! It has been a fun week and I have learned a lot for my new position. It has been so nice to not feel the pressure of doing art as sometimes my muse isn't there and frankly the ideas have been less than flowing.

This is the last pages of the mini book I created. The images are by Altered Pages. I used a variety of pattern papers, images from Inka Stamps, epoxy word stickers, flourish stickers, Prima flowers, and K&Co rhinestones.

Enjoy!
